An RV Odd Squad Membership Park based on Judeo Christian Principles and Boy Scout Values

In keeping with the promise to Restore Thunder Canyon to its former glory, this campground was founded on Judaeo Christian Principles and Boy Scout Values. The campgrounds purpose is to honor God’s love, grace, and redemption through his son Jesus Christ. And based on the principle of attraction rather than promotion, all are welcomed to come enjoy this sacred space.

Thunder Canyon Campground, a Hometown Tradition

Thunder Canyon Campground was originally established in the 1960s as a staple meeting place for Dekalb County Alabama and surrounding areas.

The last owners, the Jones family, truly cherished the property but were unable to keep it up due to old age. As a promise to the family and the local community, the new ownership has committed to honor the traditions of past and restore Thunder Canyon to its former glory!
